Job Description:

Land & Water Engineering Science is growing, and we are currently looking for an experienced water resources engineer to support the team in stormwater and civil design related projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a position that will allow them to grow and learn while being responsible for stormwater management, drainage design, hydrologic hydraulic, and water quality modeling and environmental permitting with water management districts and local municipality standards, criteria and accepted practices. A successful candidate will show that they have experience in the water resources sector and have the ability to work independently on interesting projects. This position allows the candidate to function as a technical specialist.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in the field of stormwater management
  • Strong Understanding of ICPR v3 & v4, SWMM 5 and XP SWMM H&H Modeling software applications
  • Understanding of State and local stormwater permitting criteria
  • Strong knowledge of GIS ESRI platform

The preferred qualifications for this position are:

  • Candidate has completed their Engineer Intern Certification
  • Master’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Experience with local municipalities and watershed studies
  • Working Knowledge of Civil 3D
